Big news for Rome Videogame Lab 2025!
The 7th edition of the national festival for applied games is making a fresh start at its new venue, WEGIL, the cultural hub of the Lazio Region, located in the heart of the Trastevere district in Rome.
WEGIL, a jewel of rationalist architecture designed by architect Luigi Moretti, is a versatile and multifunctional space managed by LazioCrea, perfectly suited to host Rome Videogame Lab 2025, which will take place in its traditional springtime slot, from May 8 to May 11.
The 7th edition will spotlight the video game industry, featuring the best Italian developers showcasing their latest productions, alongside numerous international guests, thanks to the collaboration with ICE.
There will also be plenty of “educational” activities, including meetings and conferences delving into the responsible use of technology and video games, as well as workshops for children and teenagers to explore the potential of games like Minecraft and Roblox.
And for pure fun, don’t miss the Mario Kart Track and driving simulators for kids and adults alike!
